2016 was the centennial of the US National Parks Service. Like many, I’m in awe of our National Parks and they represent not just a uniquely American idea but natural beauty of such variety that it seems you could visit them for a lifetime and never tire.
The US Amateur Radio League (ARRL) organized what turned out to be their most successful event ever with over one million two way long distance radio contacts being made by participants like myself.
